Great service. Jim Horton was very responsive. The outboard motor took longer to come in. Installation had some hiccups but turned out good. Price is reasonable compared to other Honda outboard dealers on the island.
I dropped off my lower unit to get resealed, Robert explained what all would be needed and gave me the best cost breakdown he could, which was pretty spot on for the final price. The lower unit looked great and all the seals looked solid when I picked it up. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent.
Joe’s upfront style and friendly personality made purchasing my new Arima Sea Chaser a surprisingly pleasant experience. He was patient and able to get answers to my numerous questions. They also addressed (and are addressing) some manufacturing issues with the build, eg bad bilge pump, trailer adjustments, incorrect engine ignition hook up.
Fantastic service buying a boat. Really personal and made my experience as a first timer very smooth. Everyone there was patient and understanding with me from starting to look to on the water orientation. Randy was an exceptional salesman and so informative. Highly recommend.
Came in on a Saturday to inquire about a jet ski trailer. Thomas was at the counter and offered a few trailers, told us the prices and specs. They had a shipment coming within 2 weeks and we put a deposit on one of them.
After two weeks, I called Windward Boats to follow up on the trailers ETA. I was told the container was being unloaded and I should receive a call next week. Another week goes by and my other half called twice on a Saturday morning , no answer. Surprisingly he got a call back from Windward Boats! After some research, we were actually looking for a customizable boat trailer. Thomas said it was in stock and he’d have it ready within the hour. My deposit was used towards this other trailer and Thomas got us checked out! We back our truck into the gate and a worker loaded the trailer parts.
We decided to put together the trailer ourselves, to save a couple hundred dollars. It took an afternoon to complete, but it wasn’t because we were missing some hardware for the bunks.

I’m so glad I bought my Hobie Getaway from Windward Boats. Stan was great in assembling the boat, identifying missing parts and defects, and then advocating for the parts and/or price deductions. He and Ryan delivered the boat to Kokokahi and helped step the mast. Mahalo nui!

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Windward Boats, Jim, David, Roo and the rest of the crew to purchase and install my new Honda 2023 BF150D outboard engine. Their work to install my brand new outboard turned out to be outstanding workmanship at a very reasonable cost and schedule. They even found a buyer for my old 2016 Mercury 115hp outboard after I asked them for help on what to do with my 365 pound outboard engine. I was at a lost on what to do with it. I was planning on purchasing an engine stand a renting a hydraulic engine lift. Phew that was a great relief! Thank you Windward boats!
